Surrogate Requirements
What are surrogacy requirements for surrogates.
Must be between the ages of 21 – 36
Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Must Not currently reside in any of these following states: Nebraska, Louisiana, and Michigan
Must had at least one uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery
Also raise up your own child
Must have Body Mass Index of no higher than 30
Must be a non-smoker and non-drug user
Including marijuana, even if you live in the legal statesMust be in good physical & mental health
Must agree to psychological, drug & criminal screening
Must have a supportive spouse/partner, family member, or friend
Married or partnered spouse/partner must be willing to cooperate and participate whatever necessary
Must be financial and living stable
You need to give up food stamp or any other government assistance in surrogacy.
Must be flexible with medical appointments and travel
Generally IVF screening (1 day) and embryo transfer (3-4 days) required reimbursable travels if you live far from the IVF clinic
Commit to becoming a Surrogate with ACRC
